Good Examples

Today I kept on thinking about stories I have heard about famous people who are very good examples and devoted Christians.

Some of the people I was thinking about for good examples are:
Mark Driscoll

Voddie Baucham

Ken Ham

Billy Graham

Franklin Graham and many others!

All of these men are godly,Christian leaders who should definitely be used as good examples! I have to admit I haven't been following their examples too much lately, but I definitely am going to try harder to be more like Christ! And I hope that everyone who reads this post will feel the same!

Amazing Bible Verses!

Here are a couple of great verses!

1.I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this?

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labor shall increase.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.

I hope you liked these encouraging, uplifting, and ever-reminding verses on God's goodness!

Paul Washer,The Determined Preacher

I know that I have put up other posts about great preachers before but lately I have been listening to Paul Washer, a very strong believer in Christ, and a firm God pleaser! So I am going to tell you a little bit about him. Paul Washer is about 52 years old and is the Founder/Director and Missions Coordinator of HeartCry Missionary Society. He is also a Southern Baptist itinerant preacher. He is a father of three and is married to Charo Washer and lives in Radford,VA.   Here is his picture.....

And better yet, here is a short video by the HeartCry Missionary Society. It's called.....

                                                         THIS IS WAR!

I have always have wanted to be a Pastor and Paul Washer is a very godly example!!! Paul Washer has a heart for Christ, and even though in some of his sermons he may seem harsh and like he is judging humans, really he loves you and talks hard for Christ so you can believe in God!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."-Joshua 1:9 (ESV)

Listen to the Lord

Always listen to God even when you don't feel like it. Do you remember the story of Jonah? He tried to run away when God told him to go to Nineveh. But he didn't listen and he got his punishment! .Take Saul for example,he disobeyed God by offering up the sacrifice which Samuel was suppose to offer up and he lost his kingdom for it!These are just two of the many stories of people in the Bible who have disobeyed God`s orders.
Serve God no matter what happens to you.  Remember to serve the Lord with all your heart, soul, strength, and mind!

Ecclesiastes 12:13-
"Everything has now been heard. And here's the final thing I want to say, have respect for God and obey his commandments."

What I've Been Doing Lately

I have been really busy these past few months which is why I haven't been updating my blog lately. And  some of those reasons are because I joined the football team in my neighborhood (with some of the kids here) called the "Gladiators". I really enjoy playing football! My friend, Anthony, comes over everyday to play sports with me and Ravi. He's really nice and a really great friend! Me and my family and some other families are doing very exciting work for God, which I'll be able to tell you more about later (in the next couple weeks). I've also been reading a lot of good books like the Bible, "Swiss Family Robinson", "Kit Carson", and "Robin Hood". We've been watching some good movies too that I've liked. Me and my siblings have joined some classes for art and Lego's and building thing out of wood. And all the little things I do everyday have also been keeping me busy! I've been trying to meet some new Christian friends and I'm praying for the non-Christian ones I already know, like the other kids in my neighborhood.

I hope all of you will accept Jesus into your heart like me and my family have! :)

Billy Graham Book's

Billy Graham is one of my favorite pastor's. Here are some of the books I have that he wrote:

"Answer's to Life Problem's"

"Facing Death and the Life After"

"Living in Gods Love"

"Peace with God"

"Hope for each Day"

"Hope for the Troubled Heart"

And here are some book's I would recommend about his life:

"Just as I Am"

"Billy Graham"

"Ask Billy Graham"

Here is a little excerpt from his book, "Hope for each Day"-

"You cannot think your way to God, or use wisdom alone.
You must use your heart."
-Billy Graham

I hope you would enjoy reading these book's as much as I did!
